These are why Prez. Akufo-Addo is a Man with the Positive Lasting Legacies – Razak Opoku
Two years of his administration, President Akufo-Addo has proven beyond reasonable doubt that he is more committed to the implementation of positive lasting legacies to the benefits of current and future generation of this Country.
Some of these positive lasting legacies include:
1. Peace of Dagbon and Enskinment of New Yaa Naa
The perfect role played by President Akufo-Addo towards the successful implementation of the Dagbon peace plan initiated by former President John Agyekum Kufuor will forever be one of the most favourite of Posterity.
Akufo-Addo’s tenacity, humility, tolerance, patience, resolute will, the rigorous behind the scenes negotiations and commitment of resources towards ensuring the peace of Dagbon, performance of funeral services for the two former overlords of Dagbon and subsequent enskinment of new Yaa Naa for the Dagbon Kingdom has been highly appreciated by the people of Dagbon, Northern Region and Ghanaians as a whole.
2. Successful Implementation of the Free SHS Policy
Akufo-Addo’s Free SHS Policy is an excellent educational insurance policy which is superior and evergreen with the potential to completely change the destiny of the future generation of Ghana.
The Free SHS has now become ace and renowned global policy adopted by other Countries around the World.
In the next 3 to 10years, Ghana’s Data Literacy Index will be one of the very best in the World.
President Akufo-Addo fully understand and appreciate the concept of Human Capital Development and Empowerment.
Generation upon generation will be very proud and grateful to President Akufo-Addo for the Free SHS Policy.
3. Successful Enforcement of Article 36
Any serious minded President just like President Akufo-Addo will never joke with the full implementation of Article 36 of the 1992 Constitution.
The Economic and financial emancipation, management of the national economy, encouragement of Private Sector Growth, creation of enabling environment for the advancement of the Private Sector,
employment opportunities and the general wellbeing of Ghanaians are rooted in Article 36 of the 1992 Constitution.
In line with the implementation of Article 36 of the 1992 Constitution and Ghana Beyond Aid Agenda, NPP Government under President Akufo-Addo has successfully implemented the following top-notch initiatives:
a) One District One Factory Policy
c) Planting for food and Jobs
d) Rearing for Food and Jobs
d) 20m Ghana Cedis as seed money for the newly created Regions.
e) Stimulus Package to Factories collapsed under John Mahama’s Government.
f) Re-opening of Obuasi Gold Mine as promised.
The question many Ghanaians are asking is that, is Akufo-Addo the good governance or good governance is Akufo-Addo?
Akufo-Addo is too good, his impressive performance is giving sleepless nights to John Mahama and members of the NDC.
