Northern Lotto Marketers and Retailers Apologised to NLA Boss
The leadership of Concerned Northern Lotto Marketers and retailers Association has deeply regretted and has issue an apologize letter to the Boss of NLA Mr. Kofi Osei-Ameyaw about the unfortunate statement from the northern regional Vice Chairman.
A statement signed by Abubakari Seidu, below is the details
A statement from Concern Northern Lotto Marketers and Retailers Association.
The leadership of Concerned Northern Lotto Marketers and Retailers Association would like to use this opportunity to sincerely apologies to Hon. Kofi Osei-Ameyaw, the Director-General of the Natonal Lottery Authority over an unfortunate statement issued by Nana Kofi Asabre, the Northern Regional Vice Chairman of the Lotto Marketing companies and Retailers Association in Tamale.
Nana Kofi Asabre, the Northern Regional Vice Chairman unilaterally organized a bogus press conference demanding the sacking of Hon. Kofi Osei-Ameyaw as the Director-General of NLA. We are by this statement completely dissociating ourselves from that reckless press conference held by Nana Kofi Asabre against the NLA Boss.
Nana Kofi Asabre press conference against the NLA Boss was born out of Malice, selfishness and ignorance of the National Lotto Act, 2006 (Act 722).
We the concerned Northern Lotto Marketers and Retailers Association fully support Kofi Osei-Ameyaw,the NLA Boss over his transformational agenda for the Lottery Industry in Ghana.
We strongly believe that Kofi Osei-Ameyaw has performed creditably well by expanding the Lottery Business to include the Banker-to-Banker Lotto Operators, Agents and Writers. This laudable initiative will generate more revenue for the Government, increase employment opportunities and, also ensure discipline and uniformity in the Lottery Industry.
We are urging the general public, President Akufo-Addo and the media to disregard the bogus unilateral press conference organized by Nana Kofi Asabre, the Northern Regional Vice Chairman of the Lotto Marketing Companies and Retailers Association. The Lottery Industry is too big to accommodate the Private Lotto Operators and Agents as well.
