Ayawaso By-election: JOY 2012 Congratulates the IGP and the Vigilante groups
A press statement sites by sikkafm.com indicates that the Independent Presidential candidates Mr. Jacob Osei Yeboah known as (JOY) has congratulates the security personals and other vigilantism groups.
below is the release
THE AYAWASO WEST WUOGON BY-ELECTION: CONGRATULATIONS TO SECURITY PERSONNEL- AZORKA BOYS, BULLDOGS, THE HAWKS, THE SHARKS, DELTA AND INVINCIBLE FORCES.
On behalf of my office and myself (Jacob Osei Yeboah -JOY), I sympathise with all those who unfortunately got injured by the little disturbance at La Bawaleshie, within the premises of the NDC Parliamentary Aspirant.
The office releases this press statement to congratulate the concerted efforts by the IGP and National Security on the one hand and amazingly on the other hand, Chief Azorka, the Hawks, the Delta and Invincible forces for the timely intervention to ensure the best available peace to Ghanaians.
Due to the ineffectiveness of the enforcement of the 1992 Constitution in certain arenas and dealing with the mindlessness from Politicians who ride on the back of unleashing mayhem on innocent citizens since 1992, it is the singular efforts of citizens that can uphold our democracy.
My respect for the IGP has soared high as a result of the exceptional professionalism and leadership demonstrated by timely actions analogous to an expert medical doctor operating on the threatening cancerous disturbances of a tumour planned against the success of Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election on 31 January, 2019, by glorified foolish politicians at La Bawaleshie.
Why should any sane politician instruct vigilantes to unleash mayhem on innocent citizens that want to exercise their civic right? But this is what some politicians orchestrated for citizens during the just ended by-election.
I am largely aware that the hope for Ghanaians in such occurrences is that, these Vigilante Groups have since 2012 elections resolved NOT to unleash mayhem on innocent Ghanaians NOR fight among themselves NOR fight with Security forces. They have refused to blindly follow glorified foolish politicians who formally instructed them to cause mayhem under the pretext of political tactics to win power. The Vigilante Groups now on their own, put their ears to the ground and leak information on mayhem for timely intervention by security forces- as was seen in the Ayawaso West Wuogon incident. They no more kill themselves nor innocent citizens whilst greedy, insensitive politicians enjoy the booties with their families.
I therefore equally, salute Chief Azorka, Bulldogs, Delta and Invincible forces for their resolve not to unleash mayhem.
The government of NPP, under H.E. Nana Akufo-Addo has equally done well by recruiting members of these Vigilante Groups into the national Security. It is the right thing and I will urge the government to even extend it to the Hawks, Bulldogs and Azorka Boys. This is one of the best solutions to ensure our peace at the hands of the duopoly monster we’ve nurtured since 1992 by both citizens and NDC / NPP politicians. The media also reinforces the duopoly of NPP and NDC and we all await to reap the fruits of their work in 2020.
The best solution is for those Politicians holding press conferences in Parliament, and those who plan to lead a demonstration this coming Thursday 7th February, 2019, to resolve to pursue nonviolent political tactics that do not disturb the security of citizens. The inter political parties’ demonstration is just a facade; the only good that will come out of it is, it will be a parade of those who actually believe in unleashing violence.
We have condemned such violence since 1992 elections and the situation has not changed for better but worsened. Ghanaian voters have also demonstrated their love for violence by voting for such politicians since 1992. Ghana has been endangered by both sincerely ignorant and selfish citizens on one hand and conscientious stupidity and greed of politicians, on the other hand.
The political tactics by some of us the opposition leaders to label the President, H.E. Nana Addo, as a violent man, and to create a state of insecurity as a failure of the government is too dangerous for our wellbeing as a people. The President and Ghana have gone past such wicked elementary 19th century tactics. I therefore call on Ghanaians to begin to voice their displeasure against such opposition parties and call for matured politics, especially in the light of the recent kidnapping of our girls in Takoradi.
The attempt to label Mrs. Jean Mensah and the Electoral Commission for biases without facts is another dangerous move. The NPP and NDC cannot stop barraging our eardrums with such accusations but they are okay when the same EC gives them the power of the voters after an election.
The government must clearly communicate to the public, decisions taken to assure our security. The only credible alternative to NPP and NDC for 2020 is self-evident: NonParty Presidential Leadership espoused by the office of JOY, since 2012. Ghanaians are now awake to the reality of the confessions of former President Mahama that, the NDC is best in unleashing mayhem on citizens in order to win power. Such a statement from a former President, John Mahama is indeed apocalyptic for the 2020 elections.
Let us therefore Not magnify the Ayawaso West Wuogon incident to our detriment to affect our economic endeavours as people. Let’s salute the professionalism of the security forces and thank God that the planned disturbances did not spread across polling stations.
Long Live Ghana
Long Live Democracy
Long Live Independent Presidential System, JOY2012
